About Us
Uniting New England’s Naval Academy Parents: Sharing Wisdom, Cultivating Connections, and Strengthening Our Midshipmen’s Journey Together
What is the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) Parents' Club of New England?
The Parents’ Club of New England, as part of the Naval Academy Parent Clubs, serves as a non-profit body focused on aiding the parents and families of the midshipmen thrive during the challenges and one-of-a-kind experiences bound with their time at the Naval Academy. Our primary objective is to make the Naval Academy experience accessible and comprehensible for you.
We achieve this by developing an environment that encourages the exchange of insights and advice, while delivering related initiatives that foster camaraderie and strong bonds among parents, families, midshipmen, and our supportive volunteers. Membership to the Parents’ Club of New England is open to all those associated with the U.S. Naval Academy, including parents, families, and their midshipmen.
We are grateful to Eleanor and Ivan Samuels CAPT, USN (Ret), the founders and first presidents of the Parents’ Club formed in 1983 when their son, David ’86, was a Plebe.
